I love the looks, but am I the only one who looks at and thinks that its just a place on a razor that would have to be constantly cleaned with a toothbrush or something? Cool for knives, guns, even vapes, but just doesn't seem practical on shave items.
Gillette had some really nice engraved razors back in the day like the Cavalier Set and New Deluxe Aristocrat Traveler. Not sure if they were hand engraved or engine-turned but $75 in 1930 is probably about $1000 today.
