For mine, once they've been thoroughly cleaned, I tend to ignore them for about a year. At that point, it's a cycle of soaking through the ultrasonic cleaner, brief scrubbing with a toothbrush, drying, car wax, and a drop of oil for the moving parts.

I rinse the razor well under the tap and let it air dry after each use. When I change the blade, usually about once a week, I will sometimes clean it with a toothbrush and hot soapy water to remove accumulated soap residue. I rinse my brush under the tap after each shave and gently dry it to remove most of the moisture. The I allow it to air dry on the sink top. Every so often, I will shampoo and condition my natural hair brushes.
I use a 3 piece with ss blades, so after my shave I'll loosen the head and whish it in the bowl water to flush any hair out and then tap the head gently against my towel, only on the ends never against the edge, to try and get most of the water out of the inside of the head. Retighten the head with the blade inside and carefully dry head and handle off. With the blade retightened in the head I arm strop the edge 5 times or so. I honestly don't know if it helps, but I'm sure it doesn't hurt, I usually get around 4-5 three pass shaves from a blade. Then I hang the razor on a hook to air dry. I only do a more extensive cleaning when I change the blade, since the head is disassembled anyway. I'll use and old toothbrush and soft cloth on the head and handle to scrub off any soap scum and polish it a bit. So far this has worked well for me.
