1. My only regret really isn't: I've had two Ranger Techs, which I'm 99% sure is the best razor to ever touch my ugly mug, but parted with both due to financial needs. Because I did what I had to do, which we men do as required, "regret" isn't quite the right word. But now a fellow member may have one on hold for me at a good price, as soon as money allows. So that's good.

  2. I thanketh thou sir, I am deeply in thy debt. Mine faith in mankind hath been restor'd.

But seriously, I don't think I deserve this gift. Thank you so much.
  3. I'm not sure if go all the way and say regret but definitely miss. I had a Cobra for a while. I sold it off because my family needed the money spent in other ways. Which is why I don't regret it but when I see one in a SOTD I always miss it.
  4. Fortunately, considering the amount of razors I've sold or given away, my 'regret' list is relatively short.

    1. Merkur 39c — #1 on my Regret List; sold during a den purge last year; had mixed feelings about selling it then...still I have tinges of regret.

    2. Merkur Futur — sold last year; probably my favorite adjustable DE razor ever....

    3. Geo Wostenholm & Son IXL Special; in horn. Sold it for $$$$(!), which funded a good deal of restore supplies & equipment—but I sure miss this great little shaver

    4. New 2013 Muhle R41Regrettably loaned out to a former TSD member, who disappeared from the forum with it. Fortunately, I've another...

  5. Those are some sexy shavers. Especially that Wosty.
  6. TBH honest I do regret buying so many razors. The only two I do not regret buying were the Travel tech and my 2nd Fatboy. I eventually will get my Fatboy replated.
  7. I haven't parted with anything I've regretted. Razors are kinda like guns to me. Use them awhile and move on to something else. I can't think of anything i own that isn't for sale. Of course, some things I own would take a lot to get me to part with.

  9. I passed on this one awhile ago because of two yahoos who got into a bidding war. Still looking.

  10. What razor is that?
  11. I missed out on milord razor and case by about $2, at the last second, but i placed my bid at the last second too so that doesnt bother me.
The really frustrating part is when I placed the bid I was in a hurry and took a guess at the currency conversion. If I had taken more time and learned the what the proper conversion would have been, I would have realised I could have bid an extra $10
and still be within my budget

I guess this answers the question that every math student asks "What is the point of doing this, we'll never use it in the real world."

Never seen another in the wild.

  18. They're pretty cool I just picked one up off of Craigslist last week. The tin graphics faded though and I'm having to repair the pin that holds the spring on. But so cool looking !

  19. Yeah I have never seen them in the wild. I picked up two off of the bay this week. I'm going to clean them up either tonight or this weekend. I saw @Darkbulb and was just mystified by there awesomeness. He's a lather catcher enabler. haha

  20. I did the same thing with a pristine Fat Boy. Every once in awhile I still wake up at night and find myself crying softly.
