That is a nice looking razor. Never seen one of those before.

Sold my Fatboy in a case, and my Rolls Razor Imperial No. 1 set.

Just a little pang of regret -- not enough to go out and reacquire, though.

Saw a near mint GEM Damaskeenne with case at the local flea market for $35. Passed it up. Twice.:signs131:

I regret getting a 37C slant. Turned out to be a horror for me. Anyone want it for $30? haha.

Put it in the Classifieds & it WILL sell.
IF it were a 39c I'd be all over it. ;)

I'm a natural hoarder by genetics. My dad never gets rid of anything, and I'm tempted to be the same way, though I've been better about an occasional purge the last few years. I just started traditional shaving back in June, so I haven't really had the opportunity to give up anything other than a Feather Popular that I PIF'd to a good friend. These types of posts just reinforce my hoarding instincts...

Haha Yeah. I think it's the only razor I really regret. If I had known any better when I was starting, I would have gotten the Lord version of the Tech instead of an EJ89.

It'll pain me for quite some time that I wasn't able to snag this one

But, oh well. You win some, you lose some.

Not so much regret as second guessing. The '46 Aristocrat was stunning. Didn't care for shaving with it but boy it was sure beautiful to look at. The other is my second razor, a Mergress. To my eye another beauty that is under appreciated. Just could not justify an adjustable set a one setting when so many other razors will do the same thing and are not adjustable.

So I miss the beauty of the Aristocrat and both the looks and shave of the Mergress.

Kind of miss selling my Cooper MonoBilt, but it wasn't giving me the shave I wanted. Still, those don't come around often.

BTW, don't know if this is off limits to mention, but I have a big den clearance going on now... Might be a chance -- if you have some regrets -- to find a replacement!

It's not going anywhere. Not any time soon anyway.
