I was looking for some kind of display stand to put some of my vintage Gillette razors on, but couldn't find anything I was happy with so I was scrounging around at work and found a large piece of delrin plastic someone had cut in half and left sitting on the band saw with a lot of other scrap material. I thought it might make a good stand for some of my razors so I cleaned the plastic up and drilled three holes in the top of each piece and took it home to try it out. Here is how they turned out. The tall stand holding the Merkur and Dreadnought razors wad made from scrap aluminum pieces. I made it a year ago. Next to it is a Van der Hagen stand that came with a shave set I bought in 2013.
Thanks, it turned out pretty decent for a couple of pieces of scrap plastic that didn't cost me anything. Also I figured the plastic would be good because it wouldn't scratch the finish on the razors it's holding.
