I was going to get one today but got a little gun shy having to pay 7 bucks for shipping. At 17 bucks it's still cheaper than the 25 I've been willing to spend on a synthetic Parker brush on Amazon with free shipping. I'm still debating with myself.

One thing I have noticed in pictures of shave dens, are multiple brushes, soaps, razors, and everything else you can think of. I am trying not to give in to the urge to buy everything now, and pace myself, and hold onto only the stuff I use. As a student I am having to cut back and lighten the load, and my plissoft brush is coming with me wherever I go. 24mm would be plenty. The knots are dense.

I guess the question is 24 or 26mm?

Depends on how big your face is. The backbone is the same between my 24 and 26. I thought bigger was better but I found the 24 to be just right. The 26 feels huge. One swipe with the 26 can cover one entire cheek. The handle on the 26 is nice though. You could always wait for the barber handle to be back in stock. They need to flip the handles around on the 24 and 26, and get rid of the mid-grip ridge on the 24, those would be perfect. They all feel nice and solid though. Some kind of hard plastic.

Having done both, the Plisoft is going to be favored by most people.

The nice thing with a synthetic (in my climate) you can use one brush only even if you shave every day.

It's just about what you enjoy. I can't explain why but for me, 24mm is ideal for a synthetic, 26-28 for boar and the only badger I've liked so far is 30mm.

I'd order one in a heartbeat if I could justify $13 shipping for a $10 item ;) Still ... $23 is an okay price for a brush

It's absolutely worth it and remember they may hike up the price too...so order it and enjoy! :)

Obviously, the solution is to place a bigger order. ;)

That's a horrible thing. Where I live, it takes 7 - 10 days for a brush to dry completely, without damaging the knot. Just ask my wife. She will at least confirm that that's what I tell her. :)

Doesn't take much to enable me ;) ... and I tried that, of course. This was the result:

    - Original Plissoft brush: $9,99 plus $13,99 shipping
    - added the Plissoft 22mm Disruptor (I like the handle), that was $18,99 for the brushes plus $24,99 shipping
    - and then I added a soap  RazoRock Caribbean Holiday. Price for 2 brushes and the soap: $25,97. Shipping: $37,99

So apparently ordering more might not be the proper solution
