    Razor
: Razorock 2nd generation Lupo.72 316SS, Mfg Jan 2021>, mid range, excellent machining and finish QC, low profile and cut out rounded corners make it excellent for under the nose shaving. One of the better DE razors I own and I enjoyed a excellent shave this morning with no issues.

Soap : Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood, nice Bayrum scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers fan shaped synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter. 26 mm synthetic knots sure impress me for performance.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.

The RR XXX Fresco soap is no joke. And the splash is just icing on the cake. Excellent product that gives that almost Italian style barbershop effect with a soft cooling feel from the menthol. For those that don’t enjoy an iota of menthol cooling, this is not their cup of tea. And for the gent that needs to feel their tear ducts well up as a dam holds up a reservoir after torrential rains while feeling they’ve shoved their face into Antarctica’s Lambert Glacier, this will not suffice. However, for everyone else it will do exceptionally well.

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur 50mm AC with a Yaqi Milano 316 SS Polished- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range. Simple blade clamping and machining and finish are great for my shaving needs. This little razor head is just perfect for my shaving needs 95% + of the time and it will be in my den for a long time and I have some back ups also I bought on sale months ago on the cheap. Small head parts makes me want to assemble over a wash cloth & seems to work the best. Had a stellar shave this morning with no issues.
Blade : Schick Proline - sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Irish Countryside, nice rejuvenating interesting clean scented with excellent lather qualities. Hard to beat this soap for quality lather IMO.
Brush : Yaqi "Rainbow" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Post shave : Razorock Irish countryside splash[IMG] with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : [IMG] or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Excellent stellar shave with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm AC with a Schick proline coated blade. Good combination of razor + blade equals great results.

DE SOTD, Saturday, August 31st 2024, total Razorock shave for a change!

Razor : Razorock Game changer.84 316SSP with a Razorock button knob 316SSP knurled. Mfg 2018>, tame mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC. Blade loading is different for this 3pc razor but works with no issues over the years. I like to use a Kai SS extra wide blade in this razor for a little more blade feel and results are stellar. I have used many other blades but the Kai SS gives a little more blade exposure but nothing over the top. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning!
Blade : Kai SS (8) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. This blade is slightly wider than other DE blades by 8-9/1000 of inch. Top tier blade for those mild razors without using shims!
Soap : Razorock Lavender, very nice masculine scent of lavender and a few other scents + excellent lather qualities. (Discontinued) One of my favorite Lavender soaps by far!
Brush : Razorock 24mm Plissoft synthetic. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of the best synthetic brushes I owned 7 yrs ago but synthetic knots have had a few generation changes over the years.
Post shave : Razorock King louis lavender splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : [IMG] or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my RR GC.84 with a Kai SS blade.
