Review: Simpsons Berkeley 46 in Best Badger

Great review of a great brush. I have one stashed away as my son's first brush!

 

I had two shaves with my new Berkeley . Produces a great lather and spreads the cream evenly on the beard. hasn't lost one hair so far.

 

Great review, I agree that the Berkeley 46 in best is a fantastic brush.

Any way that the pictures in the original post could be fixed? Not that its a big deal, but I think this review is still relevant and a potential buyer would enjoy the pictures. I could take and add some picture of mine too.

The Berkeley 46 is a fantastic brush. I purchased mine in 2024. It’s seen a little over 50 shaves. 02/22/2024

 

My first Simpson shaving brush was a #46 Berkeley that was in a pass around shaving den box ..... Truly a gate way drug in shaving brushes. Sixty plus brushes later I still only use badgers (Simpson, Kent, Vulfix and Rooney). I only recently passed it on when I purchased a replacement #46 in butterscotch.

 

love my simpson best badger knots.i ave a commodore 2x and a special.both under a $100..

That is absolutely true! I used my Berkeley again today. It’s a pleasure to use.
