Well I have one and I have been to the outdated website whose email link to the guy in Arizona does not work anymore. Anyway. Mine is well not working for me sharp wise. I have honed it and honed it. Stropped and stropped. I still cannot get an edge that it "shave ready" it is close but close only counts in thermonuclear and fragmentation devices. So any help would be appreciated. I have read that mink oil for the strop would be good. The strop appears to be in good but used condition and the stone is unbroken. I cannot go real fast with the blades because the guards do not snap up when the blade is flipped so I have make sure that the blade sits correctly.
you may need to do some more honing. its tedious, but in the end it will be well worth it. i needed to do a few hundred rounds before my blade was shave ready.
Maybe take a look at the blade in the hone and then pad the spine to get the right angle. Check out Fritz's advice on honing a Rolls in this thread.
