OK, I've heard very little about these brushes. Who has one and what can ya tell us....... I'm thinking again.
I likes mine, of course I can only compare it to the only other brush I've used, the C&E BBB. But it's definitely a performer, very dense. Steve
Steve, that is a nice looking brush. How is the balance and how does it feel on the face? Rick, That Beehive does have a great look about it.
Rick that beehive looks cool, but is it a bit awkward to get in a mug because of it's width? It's a bit tough to judge it's size in that photo. The number 2 super looks cool too
Hi Bronco, the balance is fine to me, I sometimes wish the handle was a bit longer, but I guess that's why they call it a stubby The bristles are very soft, the brush is very dense, and it's not floppy at all. I love it..I wish I had more knowledge to give you a better description, but I'm still very new to all this.. Steve
Hiya Neale, I have to say the Rooney works very well with that Castle & Forbes sample I sent out to you, thats it in the picture...The C&F is like a soft soap/hard cream consistency.. Steve
Nope. Not that wide at all and the 20mm knot is quite small. I had the Superior guys make it to the BeeHive specs .........if you are interested in those numbers. The handle and loft of the brush should be quite similar but the badger itself, I imagine, is much different. [vbpg]660[/vbpg] compare to CH1 on the left and Rooney 3/1 in super on the right
Actually, I think Rick's Rooney is a Style 3 Size 1 in Super...so 3/1........ the 3/3 is HUGE!! alot bigger than the chubby 1
