Hahaha there is a bigger chance I will buy the Astra SP. But the personna labs is actually very good for me too. I even got 3 shaves with the ones I have tried.
I've found that I like the Astra SS more than the SP. As for Personnas I've gotten a few blades lately that didn't seem up to the standard I've come to expect from them. Still a big fan of Pol's but always have a place for Astra SS's
Nah. Personna Reds and Lab Blues were just absolutely terrible for me. Now, If Gillette closes that Russian plant, you will see me buying 2000 Astra SPs.
I have noticed a price increase for Astras. When I bought them last they were about 80SEK, and now hey are 100SEK. It's not much? About 2$. It's just an observation. 100 pack has lasted about a year for me. Soo, wow.. It's so cheap hahaha
If you click on the link for all buying options, you should see various sellers, at various pricings.
Aha! I was on ebay. I'll check amazon UK. But i doubt there will be a free shipping alternative edit: ebay is cheapest for me
Remember to shop through The Shave Den's Amazon affiliate link to help support the forum. I changed it from .com to .uk, so I don't know if it will work. Edit: (broken link removed) Guess not. This thread has the U.S. link. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/how-to-support-tsd.29097/
I might be wrong since it has been awhile, but I have found Amazon to be useless for anything except books and maybe the occasional CD/DVD. Their price for shipping kills the deal, and a lot of items are not available for sale to ordinary (in)decent Norsemen. I "tried" ordering a 100 pack of Astras from the co.uk site and the only seller willing to ship would charge me £12 for a the blades and an Arko stick. Ebay is the best place to buy stuff from my part of the world.
For Americans Amazon has amazing deals. For us in Scandinavia it is not worth it. On the UK site, shipping kills the deal or the DE site is just worthless. They don't have anything. For us ebay is the way to go. But in the US, I have noticed they have much better prices and also variety
I tried Gillette silver blue last night. It was a very nice blade. Not close to what I experienced when I was a newbie haha. This might be a third blade I'm could buy in bulk. So far the best blades, organized price lowest to highest =P Astra SP Personna Lab blue
