I wish. I live in Texas, and someone from Kalifornia bought that one. Plus, I'm trying to limit my purchases. I've been on a spending spree with razors, over the past few weeks.

1954 Yacht I may have found my favorite razor to date. This weekend I went over to a member of SRP. He had kindly offered to give me some hands on pointers. I must say that this one meet up went great. I brought a few razors for him to look at. We decided to work on my J A Jordan. It needed a bit of toe and heel work. He showed me a few strokes to get that fixed. He also suggested a slight modification to my stroke. So last night i tried it out. There was s definite improvement. So this afternoon, I took a look at my Ruskie. I decided I could get it a bit better. Mind you this was close to my favorite already. I took what I picked up yesterday. Taking care to really feel the blade on the stone. I went back to 3k to even out the toe a bit. Then moved on to my 8k. This time again feeling the blade. I only went until I felt no drag on the blade. Then gave it 10 more strokes. Same with the 12k. Inspecting my handy work. I was rewarded with my best looking finish. I then went to my .5 micron lapping film. Only giving it maybe 15 strokes. I finished up with 7 strokes each on CrOx and FerOx. This time I only gave the blade 10 laps on the nylon and 50 on the leather. I was stunned how smooth this shave was. I did my normal 3 pass. Applied my Alum block. Again Zero feedback. My lesson learned today. Less is more on this blade. I bought two more Russians today. I am really looking forward to giving these a go. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OK, no more links to eBay. I'll make my own site shortly according TSD rules. Thank you for understanding.
Here is little bit information about small manufacturer of straight razor in Soviet Russia - "Артбритва" (Artbritva), in English its name means something like "Co-op razor ". It was private, actually co-op factory, located in Moscow, they existed from middle 1930's till end 1950's. I don't know much about their quality, I had just one it last year, but people using these razor say they are very good View attachment 119746

I'm finished trying to tempt you into buying a Russian Razor, for now. I wouldn't want you to get hurt. I only say this because these blades take on the scariest of sharp edges I've seen.
