I've been looking at the Savile Row Shaving brushes at QEDUSA.com and wanted to know if anyone had any experience using the brush and what your thoughts were. Any thoughts on the quality of the brushes?
http://sharpologist.com/2011/11/shaving-brush-buyers-guide-part-5-savile-row.html There was a rumor going around that they are made by Shavemac. But that has pretty much been debunked, by all accounts they are a really good value for the money. See Mantic's thoughts above.
Owners who have both swear that the Savile Row brushes are denser and use higher quality hair. here's that review: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/22531-Savile-Row-3824 and here's the discussion thread for the review: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showth...-Row-SR3824-Review-Thread?p=268851#post268851
Sounds like they would be worth giving them a try. I can always put the brush on B/S/T if I don't like the way the brush performs.

Most of those threads are fairly old, I believe. I just don't see much discussion of Savile Row brushes now and days, so figured I'd help by grabbing links for you.
I have been happily using a vie long silvertip beehive. Can anyone personally compare it with this 3824 brush? I hate to think I'm missing out.
Until you've experienced every single soap, cream, razor, brush, blade, etc. out there, you'll always have the feeling that you might be missing out
