    Considering I spent less than $15 a year from about 1989 through 2015... even with the purchases I've made since then, I'm ahead of the game.

    Mind you, it was because my choices in DE blades was VERY limited through most of that time period :)

    I am guilty as most of you are... it’s been fun. I will make a few points though... 1) I agree it’s a hobby and spending money is fair game. 2) With hardware, you will have retained value if you need to sell. 3) If you are like me and have a wife who does hair color and manicures monthly- shave expense is justified.

    But lets face it really, shaving with the same setup day after day is friggin boring. Soon it becomes a chore like all the other chores we have. Having lots of gear to use makes things interesting and fun.
