Schick Razor Identification

Discussion in 'Cartridge Razors' started by JonnyRingo1966, Mar 26, 2016.

  1. Good morning all...
I don't use cartridge safety razors myself but they are often included in the lots I buy on the bay. This particular one is very nice but I've had no luck finding another like it online. It has an all black body with a grey rubberized grip and dark yellow Schick logo. It is stamped S34. Any cart fans out there have a clue?

It's an Ultra Plus cartridge razor from Japan. It is an Atra compatible.

Lol, I was just gonna say "Paging @Sabre"

Nice one. I've never seen that model before.
    How rare is it @Sabre?

I have seen a black one on a Japanese forum. I have seen one, where the outside comes off - not sure if it's this model. It's reminds me of the N3 injector. I have only seen one for sale, but it was quite shabby.

I have never seen the red-striped handle before, obviously a TracII compatible razor...

The logo resembles the Wilkinson Sword logo, but the translation of the website by Google leaves a lot to be desired. Here is the page title translated:

The interest in these various cart type razors reminds me of a web site I wandered onto many years ago. It was a collection of images of various pay phones from around the world. There were some cool looking ones from Europe, Africa and middle east. But it always struck me odd that someone would find them interesting enough to make it a hobby to photograph them and create a website about it.

Not that I'm saying cartridge razor collectors are odd...

    :)

I still would love for you to make a cartridge razor collection site as much as I want @Billyfergie to write the book about Schick injectors :)

  20. Similar, but not the same. The logo is different on the handle tip.
