My repeater flock is reducing by one tomorrow and @Jayaruh will have a C type. I'll be keeping my B type and my injectors.
I shaved this morning with my C2 and it was terrible. Tugging, pulling I just couldn't make it work so I finished with the Mongoose. Later I went and pulled the blade.... I had left one of the old stock blades in after testing the loading function. Probably works better with a new blade!
I'm too afraid to shave with the old brass tube blades. They've been knocking around in the tube for 70 years or so, that can't be good for little harpo.
I just got back from meeting with @DDuckyMark in Asheville. And Now, I am officially a member of the SRROC. I got the Schick C and a nice piece of osage orange wood for future brush projects. Thanks, Mark, it was a pleasure to meet you in person.
Finding Nemo reference. I'm showing how many kids I have. I could see dull spots in the blades in the light so I wouldn't shave with them even though they are rust free and still slightly oiled.
Ah, now I'm showing my age...I'm sure you can imagine the reference point I was using...(he said, with eyebrows bouncing while flicking ash from his cigar)
I understood the reference you were thinking of as soon as I saw who you were. The only named razor I have is my fat boy. His name is Jerome.
@Jayaruh I'm glad you like the razor. It was good meeting you and I'm sure your new razor will be premiering soon in your SOTD photos. I know JR#8 will be in mine. I'll start taking pictures just to show it off.
