Just beautiful kd! and I agree with a great deal of your comments. I own one repeater, a C1. After just a half dozen shaves with in since I purchased it last July, I spent a full month with it in January. I now use it primarily as my regular travel razor for obvious reasons. I also agree with the low center of gravity (heavy handle, slippery as well, when soapy and wet.) but I use it to my advantage by holding it almost at the bottom of the handle where the weight will obviously tend to have gravity drop the head down. Like many shavers, I'm prone to using too much pressure. I focus on letting gravity just do its job while I keep the head nearly flat on my beard and just guide it around my face. I also reverse the grip (hold the top of the square body) for the ATG pass and the weight provides all I need to pull through the stroke with no pressure. YMMV, of course. And the design as you say, was so unique for its day, especially the Cs as they well depicted the Art Deco style of that era.
Guys if anyone is looking for a C razor (not sure of the # 1,2or3) there's one for sale for about $20.00 on fleabay. Greg
My C1 arrived and now I'm proud to have all 3 C type razors! I only need to find the elusive silver B with the cap to finish this set! Anyway here are the sisters!
