Let the fun begin. I am waiting to see who all loves this sleeper of a razor. You have to love it. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The H - it separates the men from the... ummm... the... ummm... women? Seriously, one amazing razor, even if marketed as a "fashion razor"
I shaved last night with my Hussy. I have a twin loaded in it. All I can say is FANTASTIC. 3 pass BBS everywhere. Did not need any touchups. I really could have had a BBS on 2 passes with some neck and jaw work. I had no feedback from my Alum Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The razor has arrived safe and sound! Thanks @ob1page for the opportunity. I'll hopefully shave with it tomorrow, but for sure on Monday.
I'll be shaving with the Hussy tomorrow. Didn't shave today. Any tips for good performance? The razor head reminds me a lot of the Bunny with the curved bar at the top. I'm thinking that bar should touch my face. That's what I concentrated on for the best shaves with the Bunny. Any thoughts, ideas, and tips are appreciated before I shave with it tomorrow!
Yes use the Hussy exactly like the Bunny. Very light pressure with the top spring. It is a bit strange shaving with a shape like a deck of cards. I find this does load up with lather rather quickly. So more rinsing is in order. This razor is very forgiving to user error. You will get some razor burn if you use too much pressure. It is a deceiving shave as it feels so smooth and mild. It will deliver the goods. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SOTD August 15, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick H injector (aka Hussy) Brush: Artisan badger Lather: TSD Barber Shoppe Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Barber Shoppe, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, XTG Interesting experience! The first pass beard reduction was not all that good. I found the angle pretty well but had a few struggles on my neck and surprisingly the upper lip area. I relathered and went in for the second pass. Now things were starting to become really smooth. I did have to grab my trust G1 to finish off my upper lip. I just couldn't get it close enough with the Hussy. More time and experience with it will bring better results. I enjoyed the experience and look forward to tomorrow's shave. It's definitely a unique razor! Thanks for the opportunity, Ben! More reports to come this week. Have a great day!
I'm glad you had some success with it. I also had a problem under the nose but I just went ATG there and the problem was solved. The shape of the handle takes a little to get used to, I found a two finger grip worked the best. Please take your time with it to really get a chance to see if you like it. I look forward to further reviews.
Definitely an interesting razor. The spring does look like the Bunny's. By its looks I would say its quite odd to hold. Have fun!
Am afraid I will fall in love with this one and then won't be able to get it, just like with the Bunny
Looks like an interesting shave, for sure. Please add my name to this madness! Lol! Sent from my iPhone directly into your brain using Tapatalk
