Today was the first time I took out the Gem Open Comb Micro to use. I acquired it a month or so ago. I haven't shaved for 3 days so I could put this to the test. It's only the 2nd Micromatic razor I've used (besides the Clog-Pruf). Initially I put in a used blade which had 2 or 3 previous uses, I couldn't remember. Starting out the shave felt rough so I didn't waste anymore time and put in a new blade. So much better! It was a smooth, 2 pass shave. I didn't even have to go over my trouble spots a 3rd or 4th time. It was a CCS!

Excellent maiden shave with the Keen Kutter by Christy SE razor. Plus received it with a tuck of NOS proprietary blades that were in excellent condition. Smooth, mild and efficient 3 pass shave that gave DFS results first time out. Light, agile and a simple but somewhat elegant design. And for under $10, couldn't be happier. Woo-Hoo!!!

2. NOS WILLIAMS Mentholated Mug Soap [I think its from the 1990's] - 1st time with the vintage Williams and wow did the lather explode - no blooming, no special anything - just took the wet badger to dry puck and loaded for an amazing 3 pass face lather.
3. Gentlemen Jon's Travel Badger.
4. GEM Feather Weight - PAL SE Blade 2nd shave.
