IMHO technique is everything for the beginning shaver. I did 30 day rules and advocate their use. I hated shaving too, but thanks to all the stuff I have learned here, I hate to miss a day of shaving now. I hope you have a blast!

 

Thanks so much again for the warm welcome. I think I'm gonna grab some arko to start with. Any good aftershave suggestions to go with it?

 

Arko is a fave of mine. I would suggest any classic alcohol aftershave...Pinaud Clubman, Skin Bracer, AV are my faves...

Also great AS >here<! I use TSD products regularly...be sure to note holiday hours...also one winner in the DEC newbie drawing is getting a TSD prize pack.

 

Is there an abbreviation thread? Some (AS) are obvious others not so much (TTO) atleast to me.
