My Secret Santa sent me a Vie Long Horse Hair Brush and Barrister and Mann soap samples. T I really enjoy the Vie Long brush, love the way it feels on my face, love the heft of the handle too. Thank you and Merry Christmas Secret Santa.
Secret Santa showed up today! He must have known that I was going out of town tomorrow and wouldn't be able to pick up my stuff till after the new year! A couple RR soaps, neither of which I have tried, just what I asked for. I have quite the RR collection now! This Sandalwood actually has a really nice and unique scent. The Violet is a light floral in the LOA line, should be a great performer. Looking forward to trying soon... Thanks somewhat secret santa (Ryan)...
I just wanted to let my Secret Santa know that my gift arrived. I'm going to open it on Christmas Day, and I'll post pics then. Thanks, Santa.
Wow...I am really wishing I signed up for the Secret Santa. Especially after seeing all those great gifts that were received. Just another reminder why I joined and continue to come back to this great den of ours. Now I have to wait 300 some odd days for the next Secret Santa. Just one question... Aren't the Santas supposed to be a secret?
Well yes they're supposed to be a secret but sometimes the return address or maybe an invoice stuck in the package could give it away.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone. I opened my gift this morning, and my Secret Santa somehow knew exactly what I needed/wanted: A tube of Maca Root Razor Relief A tub of RazoRock Nonno Michelino (Sandalwood) Shaving Soap A bar of Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap An awesome blade sampler with a few kinds that I've been wanting to try, and a few of my favorites that I needed as well. Thanks so much, Santa; your generosity is very appreciated.
Anyone not received their gift yet? Send me a PM through the original secret Santa message I sent you. Thanks.
A special package arrived today —I love the 12 days of Christmas! From my Secret Santa……. Check out this hefty little gift: a custom-made razor handle! A wonderfully-turned 3-5/8" shaft with bands of knurling alternating with smooth bands of chrome. The areas between the bands are grooved and as one slides the thumb, you can feel how these really help ensure a good grip. At the base of the handle is a 5/8" diameter, 7/16" deep 'drum' which not only provides a superb balance to the handle when a head is attached, but a steady base for resting it upon the pinky of the shaving hand. I don't have my scale handy, but this handle is HEFTY! It is substantially heavier than the slightly longer Muhle 'Grande' handle. Modern Industrial Cool! With the R41 head…Considerably heavier than the stock 'grande' handle. Needless to say, I'm quite pleased with this exceptionally-made handle. What a great gift! Many thanks, Secret Santa! I'm blown away…..
This makes me quite relieved I didn't go on & on in posts about the joys & wonders of Williams mug soap….
Your secret Santa asked me to find someone who would appreciate a custom handle. Someone who uses a fatboy daily, wouldn't appreciate it. Of course, someone who appreciates Williams is more likely to appreciate anything...crusts of bread from dumpsters, spotted vegetables, second hand clothing, etc.
I'm slow in chiming in. I managed to wait until Christmas to open my gift from my Secret Santa. I got exactly what I wanted and have already started using it, with great results: THANK YOU, Secret Santa!
Secret Santa finally visited Texas and dropped off a box at my doorstep today!! Inside the box was a wealth of exotic goodness......... see for yourself I don't know where to start, anyone have any suggestions?!?!!
