Yay! My Secret Santa goodies arrived today! Thank you Secret Santa! My go-to fav-o-rite aftershave in Proraso Liquid Creme, Euro Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream which is one I enjoy immenseley, Pacific Shaving Company All Natural Shaving Cream which is a cream I've never used before so definitely looking forward to giving it a go AND a William's Shaving products magazine advertisement from 1896 to go in my vintage William's collection. It advertises the first William's Shave Stick, which came in a gold-plated-and-then-wrapped-in-leather stick tin - of which I have one in my collection and you can see in the photos! Super awesome! And before anyone asks... yes, I'm selling my vintage razor collection but I'm keeping my vintage Palmolive and vintage William's collection. So this is perfect! Thanks again Secret Santa!
Okay, okay...I've succumbed to impatience last night and opened my Secret Santa gift that's been sitting on my desk, teasing me and taunting me for three weeks now. Yes, that's right, I've managed this long keep disciplined and wait, but I've needed a pick-me-up this week, and figured that could work... Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures as my phone was in need of charging by then, but suffice it to say, I'm very pleased! What, you want me to tell you right away? After I was diligent in patience to wait a three weeks? You're gonna have to wait, too.....
Well, as I'm expecting several packages from eBay these days, I didn't know mine was from my Secret Santa. So it got opened about 30 seconds after the post man put it in my hands. Besides, there wasn't anything in the rules that said we have to wait until Christmas day.
You're right about that, but I was gonna be good! Okay, I'll reveal, but first...mine, too, was in a box from Bullgoose, and I couldn't for the life of me think of anything I'd ordered recently...then the thought hit me that it was probably my Secret Santa, so I've waited. And, like I said, I needed something to lift my spirits a bit, and hit definitely did the trick...some new MWF soap, with bowl! Great timing, as my well over a year old MWF soap is on it's last legs, and I'd been wanting the bowl so I could free up an Old Spice mug. I'll try to post pics later, but I'm pretty sure we're all familiar with MWF anyway
The MWF bowl is very nice looking, I must say. Looks like the majority of you on the list have gotten your Ho, Ho, Ho's on.
you're right, it looks a lot like that, but there was much more smiling and cheering that accompanied mine
Merry Christmas - A box was waiting for me when I came home today. I had planned to wait for Christmas to open it, but that was before it came. I had not been in a very good mood and I needed a pick me up and so I opened the box. I was so excited! Then I found the gifts inside were wrapped in Christmas wrapping and it just made it more fun!! I do not have my camera with me tonight as I left it on my desk at work so I will have to post pics later. But I will list what was inside the box! 1 Bottle of Osage Rub!!!! I have been looking all over the place for this stuff and now I have a bottle all to myself! 2 Arko Shave Sticks!!! LOVE THESE and the one I have is getting to small to hold onto so Just in time!! And.... A Merkur 45 Bakelite Razor! I am so excited to try this razor in the morning!!! HMMM Voskhod or Astra now that is the question! I just want to say THANK YOU to my secret Santa! you made my day!

Secret Santa landed in Paris Ontario, Canada today... And a very generous Santa he was... Santa delivered some fine shaving products that I have not spoiled myself with before I have been dying to try each of these and I look forward to my next shave Thank You very much Santa, I will enjoy these for months to come ! And yes...your timing was excellent!
