Thanks for "busting" these myths, especially where "Big Foot" lives!! Everyone knows "Big Foot" is really a coonass/redneck mix and lives in the Honey Island swamp on the Louisiana/Mississippi border...:happy097:

I think if the angle is wrong I think it will sometimes leave soap trails? When I use my Cadet OC it doesn't leave any....:) I don't feel the combs direct the whiskers to the blade edge better either..

You are correct, IF you have the proper angle.
An angle with the handle pointing too much toward the floor will result in the comb leaving trails of soap.
An angle with the handle pointing too much toward the ceiling will result in only the head of the razor contacting the face, thus removing all the lather but cutting no whiskers.

I agree, but there are those out there who say the whiskers have to have some substantial length for the comb to be effective in guiding the whiskers to the blade edge. What is that "substantial length"? I have no idea; I shave every day.

I can get the 15C to "wipe clean" if I press slightly and make 2+ passes over the same area.
When the 15C was new to me, I did just that. For some reason, those tiny soap trails bothered me.
But I've since learned to take advantage of them.
With no pressure at all, and 1-2 in. strokes, I get this:
Of course, as they say, YMMV.
(Now I know why I'm not on the T.V. :sad024:
and I think I need some practice with the camera in macro mode)
