Day 2 - SEptember 30 Day rule with a Schick G After yesterday's experience, the order of the day was to control the urge to apply pressure to this injector. These Schicks are so light, compared to the OC razors I have used for the last 90 days, that I felt like I was unintentionally applying pressure to make it feel like a heavy OC on my face. Today's shave went better. The Alum still lit me up in a big way, but I feel like it went better. BBS again, I think that is what this razor does, it's quite aggressive. Going to tackle it again tomorrow! Cooled everything down with the TSD 2x Iced FW and felt smooth and frosty! Preparations are underway for Labor Day, Mrs. Samurai and I have planned a weekend together with no kids or distractions and are looking forward to it! Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado. Have a Triumphant Thursday!
That is just one cool photo Mark! For about 15 seconds, I actually thought you had two of the same brush and razor!
I'm perfectly satisfied with most of my shaves. But.....that doesn't mean I will be tomorrow. And, hey, I have lots of blades I haven't tried/rated/trialed/sliced myself with yet plus new razors calling my name. The learning and improving never ends!! I may yet find that one perfect setup that I have to stop and say "I'm done now, I'll just use this one forever". Yeah, right.
As a young man, I am afraid I was the proverbial "people your parents warned you about." We even managed to sneak (and I mean bum-rush) literally two hundred pounds of confetti into a HS pep rally, and dropped it all over the crowd from an overhead catwalk in the gym. We did this mostly because confetti had been banned the week previously. We found confetti in every room of my HS for months after that. It was so epic, the principal called us into his office, said "you got me" then declined to punish us, but mentioned that the confetti prank was the last thing we would ever get a pass on. Good times...
The best high school prank is turning 3 pigs loose in the building with the numbers 1,2, and 4 painted on them.
