  1. Have fun!
  2. Today was my fifth Feather AC SS Saturday. I am starting to learn this thing and am getting very nice shaves on the first WTG pass. I am following up with ATG and have close to a DFS. I did some touch up with my Schick G and am very happy with the shave.

  4. Doug, this is a beautiful trio of SE razors. I will enjoy following your progress this month. :happy088:

    SEptember Focus Day 5:

    Homemade PS Oil
    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Electric Sheep SS
    Injector Type G
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill AS

I went back to the Injector this morning when I could really focus on the razor. I found that it is a lot more shallow angle than I had thought, the head being almost flat on my skin. I got very little audible feedback, and when I did get some, it wasn't cutting much. So, I went slow and steady like this. After the first pass, I rinsed and felt the progress. I had a good reduction in beard, better than two passes a couple of days ago. So I lathered up again for my second, ATG pass. On this pass I did manage to open up a weepers I received yesterday. I also got two small nicks on my neck. But, man did I get a close shave. I have a little irritation on my mustache and neck, as I did struggle with angle a bit going ATG. I also have a spot under each nostril that I didn't quite get, but other than that, I am sporting a BBS this morning. I can tell I will have to work on this a while, as it doesn't feel natural to me after using DE razors for so long, but I also see potential in this razor.
  7. I'm in for OCtober! Jay @Delta Echo Razors is recoating my New LC in bronze. It should be all spiffed up and ready to go.
  8. Mark, that is a beautiful set up! :)
  9. Thanks Charlie.

@Denta Echo Razors is doing excellent work at reasonable prices. Look forward to seeing your new New.
  10. Looking forward to seeing LC when it's done.
  11. Day 5 ......WOW is all I have to say I think it's a BBS ....after only 2 passes and of course a touch up on my jaw line. If this is not a BBS I'm extremely satisfied with this.I wander how a new blade would do.splashed on some clubman aftershave and I am definitely ready for whatever this day brings.

  13. Makes you wonder what the Chinese people actually use to shave with.

  15. So another day, another shave.
    September 5
R41 for a razor, Walgreens club 35 blade, semogue 1250, and the PAA Otra soap. Switched out the AS today with captains choice sandalwood.
So the shave... Yeah I don't know what is going on but i don't like it. I'm on the second blade and think I'll give my face a break tomorrow. Then I'll be switching out back to the GSB. These razors just seem to drag on my face/neck. Couple Weezer I didn't feel on my neck. The irritation though. Paying attention to angle should be paying off more than this lol
  16. Your posts remind me of this commercial. I fell for Ritz Crackers after I saw it. I have some Feather Super Pro blades on order. :happy093:

  17. Clint, I'm sorry to hear that you're still having back pain. I hope the treatment provides you with some relief.
  18. Thank you. I hope so too but at least if it doesn't work, I will know that I did everything possible to avoid surgery.
  19. I'm in big for OCtober as well! I've had but one shave ever with one, New LC and loved it!

( I gotta find a way to shave twice a day!)
    ;)
  20. Handy rule of thumb: don't mess with a guy that's 6'4" and 220. Especially one that smells of Arko and the Veg. :scared003:
