Well he must have lost it because 10 years later he was receiving Personna DE blades from Ol' Saint Nick!
Thats just show business....He was too classy and clean shaven to not really be using a Schick Injector.....behind closed doors... I remember the night Dad took me to see Goldfinger (the night it first opened)...I was giving him a hardtime on the way home, about James Bond uses a Gillette Adjustable....and Dad said,"Thats only in the movies, James Bond is a modern man with state of the art gadgets...Nobody is going to drive a car like that and not use a Schick adjustable" and then he laughed. He was so sure of himself, I bought it....ha,ha! Thats why to this day I still identify Schick razors with that Aston Martin....lol!

@Rufus T. I present you all with an Interesting topic which was brought up by our very own Rufus T......How would you discribe a "smooth shave" vs "close shave"... I'm trying to look at that question through a lens colored by the razors I've seen used here recently... 1. A shave can be close and smooth 2. A shave can be very close but not nessesarily smooth. 3. Or very smooth but not nessesarily super close... I'm thinking, Ru's J or I2 both; if blade sharpness and lather prep is optimal; have a rep for giving smooth shaves. MrChick's or Roderick's micromatic is famous for very close but not nessesarily smooth shaves until one gets used to it... Some early E2s are more on the super close but to get it smooth, I would need to pay a closer attention to detail, prep and lather... So I guess, smoothness has something to do with efficientcy and the irritation free quality. Although too efficient can have the opposite effect... and Closeness is just that....how close... Sport Car analogy....Country road, Sunday afternoon....Miata is easy to be smooth with......a Lamborgini, because of it's hyper-efficientcy isn't easy to be smooth with....more like work, but the results are very effective...Both cars can be a blast! A friend across the street compared the ER 1914 to the Lambo because the road surface feedback was so extreme it was a little undaunting...I can see that...The 1914 is so tuned in that it took me a 30 day focus to really learn how to drive it. It's now with my top shelf razors...The I2 is more of an Aston Martin Grand Touring Razor....easy to drive smoothly....}8^)) Open Comb Micromatic is more of an Indy Car...ha,ha...This is fun! I think thats kind of how I see it....What do you guys think?

Marque CSF French Hoe SE... Another shot... 10/09/15 Three Pass Shaving Routine.... Hot Water prep & massage with Coconut Oil Marque CSF French Hoe SE Gem Stainless (Modified) Se Blade (New) Semogue Boar Brush Palmolive Shaving Cream (added Aragn oil) Organic Aloe Vera Gel LOGONA Man Aftershave Balm (From Germany) I achieved a most perfect BBS result with this lovely French Marque CSF Hoe ....I would honestly equate this French Hoe to a Schick F Type Injector...This razor is quite aggressive, but ever so smooth and forgiving....I have three French Hoes and they shave as efficiently as any injector for sure....I utilize a full Gem spine behind the blade to replicate the intended shaving angle of the original wedge blade....I can only say get one of these as you wont regret it..... French Hoes are the Dogs Danglies.... Billy
I am really starting to like this Michromatic OC. This was day three with it and I got a very nice BBS with two passes and some touch up. No blood since day one. SOTD Gem Micromatic Gem blade (3) TOBS Grapefruit Cream AOS AS Balm Florida Water Have fun!

The Vie Long brush whipped the Tabac into a nice lather. The Star paired with the GEM blade and the Boker did a nice job on the stubble. The Tabac AS and EDC were a nice finish for this 2 pass Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!
I really appreciate all the thought you put into your post Mr.B, it was most helpful. ..and with that, my shave today with the Lamborgini (Canadian Schick E) challenged my driving skills, requiring utmost focus (a good thing while driving) and coordination while delivering every cubic inch of horsepower available into the ultimate final result as the big cat pulled into the driveway purring like a baby kitten!
Is it me, or is anyone else scratching his head seeing Billy mention in the same sentence - Dog Danglies and French whoes?
