    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Frozen Tundra
    Schick Adjustable
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS

Great shave with this razor. I have it set on 2, and I really haven't gone through any other settings to see how they compare. This set really works well for me, though. A little Aqua Velva Ice Blue to finish up a Menthol Monday shave. From the looks of a few emails, it is going to busy at work today. I hope everyone has a great!

    Thank you Jim.

Jim, how do you compare the Adjustable to some of your other Schick Injectors?

The handle length makes it different than the E or G. It is similar to the J, in that regard. For some reason, and it may be the length of the handle, it feels a little more hefty than the other razors.

With this current setting, the shave itself feels very similar to the J. I would need to play with the dial a bit more, to see how that would compare to the E and G. On 2 it feels like you would have to almost try to cut yourself. The E definitely isn't like that, and the G has a little more edginess to it that let's you know it will bite if you slip too much.

Thank you for the comparison. It helped a lot. I have tried a G, I & J and found all of them pretty tame. Maybe I will get around to try a E at some point.

    Brush- AOS Fine Badger
Razor- PAL InjectoMatic / Schick E3
    Blade- Chinese Schick
    Soap- TSD Killer Queen
    Post Care- Crystal Alum
    Thayers Witch Hazel
    Avon Spicy

Happy menthol Monday! This was the second round for these injectors. I used my Killer Queen soap for a nice menthol chill. Today I used the Schick on my right and the PAL on the left. Great reduction from both sides in the first pass. Equal feel from the second. After three I'm dolphin smooth. I was hoping the alum would give me the winner today but both sides were completely silent. I'm going to have to wait a few hours to decide the winner. Finished off with Avon Spicy. Have a great day folks!

I have a hard time with muting a vintage blade. It just seems a shame to take a spike that has survived so many years and take it off. I have no such worries on a new razor. I plan on keeping this for a while, and want it to be comfortable and simple to use. I still like a square tip over a round, to help line up my facial hair, but taking the very end of the spike off made the razor much better to use. I just did three half inch strokes on the granite countertop to mute each tip. Without a loupe, you can't even see the difference. The lack of blood however, made it easy to spot.

Saturday Night Shave. Decided to stick with a good thing for the soap & aftershave combo. Lathered up and spent a little extra time to do 3 passes WTG, XTG, ATG. Solid DFS. I'm liking the New head on the heavier handle.

I decided to cool it down this morning with a double dose of Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill. Man, that stuff is not for the weak of heart or face. It has got a boat load of menthol. Every time i use it, I'm surprised. If you don't watch it, it will make your eyes water. I loaded up the brush and did a quick Monday morning 2 pass shave WTG & XTG. Jolted myself awake with the AS splash and walked past my wife who commented on the pleasant citrus scent. The shave was a passible DFS.

I am liking the Tuxedo knot that I put in this handle. It's a nice soft lathering machine. Back to my favorite straight today.

Departed from SE Focus, and didn't follow controls for The Grand Blade Trials. Being Monday I did Menthol. C.O.B. cream is good with a badger brush so I thought I'd try my new-to-me OPAL Nylon brush. After many washes the knot cleaned up enough that I felt comfortable using this vintage brush. It's floppy like my only badger, a Vulfix 660S Super badger. Wet my face and applied cream, set brush to face and found a similar effect. The brush spread the cream and did produce a lather. After a couple moments working it, the knot laid over and worked like an old paint brush. No backbone, all flop. That didn't stop me from getting a great three passes DFS with the Crystal/Q-Ball. Not having used the setting 2/6/9 protocol, I don't have data points to add to Neal's Trials. But it was nice getting the Fat Boy in hand after most of a months SE action. Someone mentioned their Alum gliding like a block of glass. Yeah that! Cool splash of AquaVelva Blue, and another because it smells good.
    Good day Y'all!

You are correct, the instructions are in German, and are also the only place I've ever seen the angles diagramed.
(Edit: I attribute this to the national level of OCD all Germans seem to share when it comes to technical stuff).

I use my adjustables at 3, and sometimes push them up to 4 or 5. 1 is well nigh unusable, and most people, including me, recommend starting on 3 when trying an adjustable razor for the first time.

With cell coverage. Impressive. Enjoy your vacation. Go attack a bear to make a new brush, use the fat to make a cream, and find a sharp rock to shave with. I dare you...

Knowing @NCoxSTL, he would probably take the dare to shave with a sharp rock!
