    I'm starting to wonder why I've relegated this razor to the travel kit. Some of my travel shaves are the best. This is a fantastic razor.

    Thank you, Clint! This was one of my unobtainium razors, which I have actually had for quite a while. I don't use it too much, and I am not sure why. It shaves nicely, although the corners will bite more than other razors. I'll have to pull it out more often.

    Well the remains of Irma passed through Metro Atlanta late yesterday and into the evening with gusts in the high 50 mph range which downed powerlines and trees across the region. We escaped with no damage at home. However my office which is located in one of the harder hit areas is without power and road closures, I get to take an unexpected day off work. I did make one change to the shaving lineup and switched to a Feather Super Pro blade because the General with the Schick was just not as efficient as I wanted. The General/Feather Super Pro combo requires a light touch but delivered a "spooky" close 3 pass shave . I did get one weeper due to my error but overall a great shave. A splash of F&C Capri and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

    My observation with my boar brush is that the bristles hold a ton of water and I really have to squeeze out as much as I can to get a good load and lather.

    Another great shave with the E3 this morning. Did a full 3 1/2 passes to get my neck perfect as I'll be in a tie for about 12 hours today as I have meetings scheduled until early in the evening. Finished with the Gentleman balm to use a Stirling product for the mini-focus. I love this scent. My wife kissed my goodbye and said "you smell like a--". Baby steps, folks.

    Stay the course! :D The SOC boar has a notoriously long break in period, but when it finally dials in, it's going to be one of your favorite brushes. Mine has 200-300 shaves on it, and is a superstar in my den. Your patience will be rewarded :happy088:
