Schick L1 (Thanks to the generous @JohnRuschmeyer!)
    Maggard Plissoft
    Lisa's Natural Somali Rose
    Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel

This will be the razor that gets injectors into my regular rotation. It feels smoother than my G or Hussy, and is quite efficient. I went for the full face and head shave. I hadn't shaved the my head in about a week, so there was plenty there to test the razor. It mowed through it like warm butter. So far, this is hands down my favorite injector. The Somali Rose and Thayers Rose paired well and were a nice, calming end to the evening.

Another great effect, Jim. Is Egyptian Spice based on Old Spice?

I'm all set with PART of my "Mad Rush To NB18", not quite with the rest. (I didn't make the order just yet, as I want to work with what I already have until maybe Thanksgiving or early December).

The L1 is certainly a smooth shaver. It's mild but efficient. I used mine yesterday with great results.

    A Stirling SEptember

    Blade: GEM stainless
    Razor: GEM Pushbutton
    Brush: Jayaruh boar
    Lather: Stirling Pharaoh's Dreamsicle
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Pharaoh's Dreamsicle aftershave
    WTG, touch-up

Enjoyed this afternoon shave today. Smooth and comfortable. Great lather from the Stirling soap and efficient shaving from the Pushbutton. Overall a nice and relaxing shave. Really enjoying all the Stirling soaps I'm rotating through. Tremendous quality!

    Have a great weekend!

Is there someone here that could spare an Arko stick and send to me? I could pay the postage or send you a little bit through Paypal. I'm cooking up a focus for next month and don't have any Arko at the moment. It might factor in to my plans. Thanks for reading!

I would easily put money on Paul. I've watched him window shop stuff for a year. He's got the intestinal fortitude to wait it out.

Jason , no disrespect intended, but I give you until May, maybe June. No more knots, no turning blanks, no B&M aftershaves, no minty injectors, razor blades, NO MORE nothing. You might get the guys to let you off the hook over a little unscented Nivea Balm, but that's it. But you'll have to plead your case, even for that. And guys dangling stuff in front of your face, all day, every day.

I'd root for ya, but bet against you.

O Ye of little faith! You may be right, of course. However, at the end of October of last year, I had the remnants of a Crabtree & Evelyn Sandalwood Puck, a AoS jar, a cheapo Body Shop brush and a Mach 3.

10 months later, I have a modern DE, 8 vintage Gillette DEs (and I piffed one), 2 vintage non-Gillette DEs and 4 Injectors. In all fairness, I've gotten many 'in the wild' for very good prices.
11 tubs of Artisan soaps, 5 other samples, 3 tubes of Creams and 2 sticks.
    12 aftershaves & balms, over 600 Blades.
6 brushes- 2 badger, 2 boar, 2 synthetic, with an Omega pro knot downstairs waiting the next handle.

While I realize this is not a terribly large den by this group's standards, I think it is quite enough for 10 months. I'm thinking one Gifts and Care order in the fall for some Floid, Myrsol and a few odds/ends, plus one Canadian Blade Co order to top up North American stuff and I give me a decent chance of doing it.
Now walking into an antique shop and seeing a floating head or Monobilt for next to nothing, or an unopened Shulton gift set and I can basically guarantee I'll cave in and buy.
