Thank you both! Its been a while since I've used a G. I had forgotten how smooth and nimble they are.
If it helps at all, I splashed the Osage on my face. Capped it up and put it away. Then had an itch. The menthol was still on my hands when I scratched. So no ball to aftershave contact occurred. It should be safe.
Thank you Andrew. I agree with all the artisan soap makers. My 2 must try for next year are Grooming Dept and Oleo
I'll try the same thing. So far I've had no luck with Williams. I did start fairly dry and added a little water as I went, still no good. Maybe I loaded too fast. I can, however, make a mountain of foam!
Be sure to soak the puck while showering. It's a really thirsty soap. A boar brush works best for me. Soak the boar, squeeze it out, and then load and slowly add water. Load two or three times longer than you normally would any other soap. I'm not professing that I get great lather from Williams! These are just some steps that help me when I use it.
Touched up the Koraat on a English Slate hone, and naile it for keenness and smoothness. First use of Catie's Bubbles Confiant. Very complex scent with a lot of lavender. I like it.
Along with the others that mentioned your G4, I love it! The blue really makes it stand out, along with the textured razor head!
I normally do bloom my soaps (I only have a few that are hard pucks, mostly creams/croaps) while I shower. I also use a boar. I've even watched countless YouTube videos...some where they get a great lather, others that don't . I've even tried knocking down the air bubbles, which makes it even worse for me. I will say, on the positive side, it's a slick soap.
You have me wanting to check one out, but it would take all of one minute for my daughter to claim any makeup brush as hers. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
