Great photo. I still marvel at your travel setup. I agree with your comments on CRSW Jeff's Soap. It is good enough that I want to try other CRSW soaps with scents that might appeal to me more. Great photos. I love the coloring. Great photo Mark. You consistently nail them. Great photo Jim. The case is simply beautiful.
Gillette Tech Rapira Swedish Supersteel Semogue BC Texugo Soap Commander Love Soap Commander Love ASB It was time to swap blades. I wanted a change this morning and broke out the Triangle Slot Canadian Tech this morning for a fantastic shave. Not my favorite of the Techs, but not far off. Enjoy your day.
My thoughts on Jeff's Soap agree with yours. The scent is growing on me. At first sniff I wasn't crazy about it - wasn't bad...wasn't great either. After several rounds with it, I'm starting to like it. It's a nice scent for warmer weather. It certainly can't be knocked on performance. Easy to lather....nice slick cushion. I bought it mainly to help the cause, and due to other positive comments in various posts, I just wanted to try it out. Most likely there will be a future order of CRSW soaps...in different flavors!
Smells like the Drug Store SEptember!!!! (Stirling Booster) September 28 Razor - Schick M2 Adjustable Injector Blade - (6) Soap - Stirling Ozark Mountain Brush - Stirling Synthetic Pro Handle ASOD - Old Spice Three days left for SEptember so a day on each SE. Tonight is the Schick M2. This razor has given me the best shaves of the month and tonight was no exception. Keeping it about halfway up on the dial this thing is a race car for me. Sixth trip on the blade and it's as smooth and effective as ever. I chose the Stirling Ozark Mountain and my brand new Stirling Synthetic brush. (I ordered my wife a jar of Witchy Woman Body Butter and a Bath Bar from Stirling and slipped a new brush in.) The brush is a 26mm knot and heavy and really did a number on the lather. Great feel and scent. Two and a half passes and the baby is sleeping soundly. Tomorrow night I'll use the E2 injector, then finish on Saturday with the Gem 1912. Have a great Friday!

Friday September 29 shortly after midnight - a SEptember Stirling Evolution with a drugstore finish Pal adjustable / Personna ( 3) Semogue Owners Club cherry wood boar brush Stirling Naked and Smooth shaving soap Alum and Nivea Sensitive Balm For my second last shave of SEptember, I joined the Stirling movement and used my only Stirling soap. Naked and Smooth is an unscented product. I clearly still need to work on my boar brush technique. I squeezed all the extra water out of the knot and thought I loaded heavily. I then bowl lathered while dribbling in water. However my first pass lather was a bit skimpy and thin on the face. I reloaded more heavily and bowl lathered again between passes, and my second pass lather was thicker and slicker. I ended up with a two pass BBS with no nicks or weepers but the alum was rather stinging in several spots. A trip to the drugstore with the old reliable Nivea balm quietened everything down. Overall an excellent shave and the Stirling is obviously a very good soap. Nevertheless my boar technique is equally obviously still somewhat lacking. Something to work on next month perhaps.

The set up helped to contribute and I am very near BBS after two passes. I hope everyone has a great day!
SEptember 29, 2017 OneBlade Genesis V2 Feather FHS Rudy Vey RV7 with Shavemac Finest CRSW Jeff’s Soap Floid Blue A great shave this morning to end the work week. The CRSW Jeff's Soap is a very easy soap to lather with excellent performance. I do wish the container were a little wider but I can't really complain. I went with a 3 pass shave paying attention to my trouble spots and skin stretching and ended up with a perfect shave everywhere but my bottom right neck. I just did not feel like chasing it with an extra pass to get my neck perfect. A splash of Floid Bulue and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

Gem ClogPruf Micromatic Gem Stainless (1) Omega 10029 Arko Stick Over the past 2 months of SE fun since pulling out my banged up OCMM, I have come to enjoy SE razors again. Even picked up a ClogPruf and a stock of blades to see me through. Today was a nice quick comfortable shave to get me out the door to finish up the work week and the Sept30DC. Enjoy your day.

September 29th Schick I1 w Chick (2) TGN Boar Tabac Thayers Stirling Barbershop AS Switched out the Injectomatic for the I1 and it will be my last SE shave for the focus. I hadn't smelt like an old lady's purse lately, so out came the Tabac. I pressed some in the bottom of my bowl for no other reason than I wanted to try it that way. Never had a problem with it as a stick on face. Got an excellent lather after a bit of time and had a very enjoyable 3 pass shave. Didn't touch up my neck, and I'd call this a DFS+. Finished with the Barbershop and will have to count up how many days I used Stirling products as part of that mini-focus this month. Have a great day all!
29 SEptember 2017 R E D Friday Blade Focus Shave It's TGIF and that means I'm shaving with Route 66 "Rum Runner" and wearing red. Last shave of the work/shave week. The Slim/Sputnik duo was very impressive. I got an entire week of outstanding shaves. When OCtober is in the books I've got a couple more blades to audition. Then I've got my new acquisition(Gold Fat Handle Tech) to find a blade for. The first shave of OCtober is gonna be on the road in Columbus GA, as Herself and I are going down to see my oldest prior to him starting his Captains Career Course at Ft. Benning. Have an outstanding day and a better weekend!! HOOAH!!
