Any idea what caused the blood clots in your lungs? Whatever it was, do try to avoid any repetitions, Charlie. This place wouldn’t be the same without you! Prayers for your speedy recovery!

And if I haven't said so before, I think the recent formation of the unofficial 30DC Health Club with the various guys who are encouraging each other as they modify their diets and lifestyles and lose weight is a superb development here!

Ahhh. I miss Mr. Guy. He posted at TOST. I think he got married and dropped out. There is really no need for all that. Get the blade behind the stops and screw the top down. As for shimming....if you want to shim something instal a window. No reason to shim a SE...it's silly at the least...

 

Looks just awesome!! I have not used one of those yet. You did a great job looks like! I am a fan of the XXX too.

The Marvys mug has Scalp Master soap in it. Horrible stuff. I use it now and then to prove I can. The rest of the gear was great. That is a 1900ish Superior.



I picked up another G3. Cleaned it up and finally got around to using it. The cream in the blue travel tub is Derby Lavender. Great shave!

I may never know for sure what caused the blood clots. We've traveled quite a lot over the past few months. My theory is the blood clots developed in my leg (or legs) during one or more of these trips and moved into my lungs. I have some questions for my family doctor next week. I also plan to look into support stockings that I can wear on long trips (here come the memes!) along with making a commitment to take more frequent breaks. I'm the guy that keeps driving until somebody in the car starts yelling at me to stop. I need to stop every hour and move. The same goes for home. I need to be up on my feet more frequently. Losing weight will certainly help too, but I think a lot of it boils down to lifestyle choices.
