I'm in for SEptember. My favorite month of the year, also my birthday month. I'll pull out the SEs and maybe just a few DEs. Remember we're all in this together!

Well for this mornings shave I wish I could just rubber-stamp(copy&paste)that of yesterday and put it here. Essentially the same commentary. Only difference is the brush-I had the Stoylin Pro-Handle today, thus making it an all-Stoylin shave(well, minus the Gillette Sensor Deuce "JettABLE. "(French for "DisposeABLE" Jetter is the French for "to throw-away"-). One (K)nick, but was harmless. 2 good solid passes. Another Super-Duper Excellent shave. Happy September, fellas....here's to another month of great shaves and great times discussing them here. :)

Lovely photo and great shave, Clint! Gorgeous staging! The Supply and the Alpha brush look as though they were made for each other. Hope your day goes smoothly!

Joe, don't jinx me, I'm on a roll! :p But honestly, Ben has gotten me burnishing the edge of my razors on the jasper stone followed by a pasted strop and then a regular. It seems to work beautifully! I'm going to just keep on keepin' on, as we used to say in the 60s! I find myself feeling my mug, over and over, but I think my straight shave this morning is the smoothest shave ever in my experience. If you quote me, Mr Know-it-all I will deny, deny, deny!

If that's the case, then TSD won't be as friendly as everyone builds it out to be. While some see it as a fun way of nick naming or catching someone off guard just in everyday conversation, I don't. IMO, a childish school game, and all too common in media nowadays.

TSD won't be a place I'd call home anymore. Almost makes one wonder why some have quit posting.

I am curious. How many strokes do you need on the jasper stone?

Per this month's survey, as it is, after all, "Single-Edge September" and that horse has a commanding lead, I am not above declaring him the winner, but I'm also not below it, therefore let's see how this baby progresses.

    SE Shave #145

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip
    Blade: GEM Stainless
Brush: Leo Frilot ECWS 2018 Ghost Trails
Lather: Stache Soap Works E Barber
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Musk
    Additional Care:
    Barbero Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
Pre de Provence No. 63 EdT

Day two of the final year, 182 wake ups to go! Bring it on kiddies.
I am smelling and feeling good after my morning routine of hot shower and iced water shave. The only thing that is amiss is the morning workouts. They will now have to take place win the afternoon or early evening.

The Gem with a new stainless steel blade delivered a smooth and comfortable three pas shave. The soap is progressing towards it’s demise. The AV musk finished the shave off nicely. Prior to leaving the house a few spritzes of the Pre de Provence No. 63 EdT has me ready for another day of meetings.

    Have a great day gentlemen.
