@Jayaruh is a master craftsman and an all-around cool guy. He's making JR # 416 for one of my friends.

    Good morning!

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Just a tickle from the alum on my neck.

We had a sit down with our financial advisor yesterday. Good news, things are still on track for early retirement. We're both looking forward to retirement but it's a scary thought walking away from the security of regular paychecks. The wife and I both turn 55 next year and that's a requirement of both our employers to draw our pensions. We're not sure what we'll do. Maybe when that day comes it'll be easier to get up and go to work everyday knowing that I'm doing it because I want to, not because I have to. Time will tell.

    Have a great weekend!

I ordered some MWF to give it another try. It will be in next Wednesday so I can put it to use on Fat Friday.

Beautiful shave, Jim! You go from one knock-out set up to another!

Congrats to you and your Bride on taking the initial steps toward retirement. It's an emotional as well as financial decision. If you both have things you'll enjoy doing in retirement, you will love it. I don't think you'll miss the 12-hour, 7-day, 24-hour call-in work schedule and all the craziness that goes along with being employed for a major company.

You will have to purchase your own shoes and pay for a few more meals in retirement. I bet you know what I mean. :)

I have a good friend and former co-worker who is a retired pipe fitter and welder. He works as a contractor on projects and maintenance shutdowns, but he is enjoying the freedom of retirement.

I am happy for you and your Bride. :)

    Thanks, gentlemen!

I started punching a time clock after-school, weekend's and summer vacations when I was fifteen years old so it'll be a big change.

I am happy for you guys. If we can get the girls through school and off the payroll, Swati and I can think about retiring.

    ETHOS Lavender Suprême~~Simpson 90th Anniversary Astor~~RazoRock GC/Sharp Star
I have to say, this soap outdoes the A&E soap in two categories.
    1) Slickness/Protection
    2) Post-shave
I think I have mentioned this, but this is the only soap, which allows me to perform
an ATG pass (90˚ from Jugular to Adam's Apple) WITHOUT irritation.
    Amazingly slick.
Third use of the Sharp Star and I think I can get one more out of it.
The GC is a heavy razor. Momentum is easily reached by the sheer mass.
    How's that for my lay-calculations?
Once again, I face-lathered. This might become a habit!
BBS, yes, BBS even on my neck.
Might not pass the cotton ball test, but for me, outstanding.
Another outstanding aspect is the lavender scent and the moisturizing properties
of the Skin Food Splash. Yes, there is some alcohol, so it nips.
