Shipping is the real trouble. However, a member on this board was so kindly to help me out. Hence the can of Barbasol Original that flanks my Den top-shelf Shipped "the correct way", I think a can will quote me 30-40 USD. I might love the design and look, but that's just too much. I think it's because it's a pressurized can that USPS considers it way too dangerous to ship, unless you pay premium then it's suddenly not so dangerous anymore.. haha
I googled for U.S. military bases in Denmark. As a penguin Thule might be accessible. Otherwise someone could corner the mark up market becoming a local distributor. Weird how being hard to get makes a product so desirable.
Thule is based in Greenland, though under Danish territory, it's an island located far north, close to the arctic circle. I'd love to go there sometime - lovely scenery! But you're so right, it's weird that way. I've seen Youtube videos with danish candy reviewed by US people, and they have that look on their face when I see US stuff. Haha. But to me, danish candy is just.. candy. Available on every corner. Just like Barbasol is to you. We're weird.
do you sometimes dunk the cream in hot water prior to shaving? That can help lose the sandpaper effect, I find.
Sometime after I got proficient at this I did a little experiment to see what made the biggest difference in the much better results I achieved by wet shaving. I did my old multi blade cart2and brush and soap/cream, my best DE and canned goo, DE and brush with soap/cream, multi blade cartridge and canned goo. Of course the DE and brush soap or cream worked the best but second place was easily multi blade cartridge with a brush, proving to me it's the biggest factor in getting better shaves.
