It is one of my favorite creams. I get a little more rose out of it than I do lavender, which I enjoy. It definitely lathers nicely, and it is nice and slick with good protection. I say get it!
Razor A: Ever-Ready 1914 WW1 SE Razor B: Merkur 34 C Blade A: Gem Blue Star SE (1) Blade B: Feather (6) Brush: Fendrihen Silver Tip Badger Black Faux Handle 22/49 Soap: TSD Iced Bay Rum A/S: TSD Iced Bay Rum Day 20 An amazing shave this afternoon with this above combination. The Shave Den Bay Rum soap builds an outstanding lather. I left the container open while I soaked my brush and when I returned to the bathroom the whole room smelled of Bay Rum. The A/S was the same distinct fragrance but more lasting than the Captain's Choice Bay Rum. The same applies to the TSD Bay Rum Shave Soap. IMHO I don't believe you can compare the two as (Captain' Choice) TSD product is by far a better soap and A/S. IMO. I had to change the blade in the Ever-Ready this afternoon.
Great photo Doug. With a review like that I will be ordering some TSD Bay Rum AS when I finish my CC Bay Rum.

Razor A: Ever-Ready SE 1914 Razor B: Scimitar Bluebeards Revenge Blade A: GEM (3) Blade B: Feather (6) Brush: WDC-1 Grandfather's restored rush Black Badger Wood Handle (20/65 Soap: TSD Iced Irish Spring Type A/S: TSD Iced Irish Spring Type Day 27 Good morning shave today for a change. TSD soap whipped up into a great lather with a fresh smell of Irish Spring. Accompanied by the TSD Iced Irish Spring A/S was an excellent finish. The Ever-Ready SE is make a fair bit of noise when it cuts the through the facial hair, however, I'm kind of liking it now. Grateful to have restored my Grandfather's brush and that it is still getting used after all these years. Couldn't have restored this brush without the help of members of TSD and Larry at Whipped Dog.
TSD SUNDAY Late to this thread, but I'll jump in mid-stream. My first shave with this NOS razor and finished the near-BBS experience with The Shave Den's aftershave milk, "South Pacific Waters, Iced" (not 'Tropical Waters' as I mislabeled it in the photo ). Splashed on with a refreshing menthol chill and leaves my face feeling comfortably 'tight' and soothed. Very nice! My wife loves the fragrance as well = a Win-win situation!

SHAVE DEN SUNDAY RAZOR: MAGGARD 18C BLADE: RAPIRA PLATINUM LUX BRUSH: EVERREADY 600 SOAP: TSD 2X ICED HAVOC (AQUA VELVA TYPE) POST: CVS BRAND AQUA VELVA Great 2 pass shave this morning with TSD. I have not had 1 bad shave with the TSD soap, the lather is slick and I can go back over areas without product on with no irritation. I also like the scent list because there is something for everyone. Have yet to try the aftershaves or anything else besides the soap, but I would consider it in the future. As long as I can get my hands on the soap, it will always have a spot in my den. Paired very nicely with the CVS brand AV, and there was no burning from the A/S which is a good sign.
