I’ve used Williams for years with a boar brush,and never had lathering issues. Recently, I used a Yaqi Barber Pole in 2 band badger, and got the best lather ever with the Williams. I don’t ‘bloom’ the puck, I soak it. I put hot water in my Marvy mug, soak my brush with it, then I pour the slick glycerin water into a washcloth, and use that as my hot water pre rinse. Then some PSO, Lather, and go.

yes sir.very slick,no dissipating,that was for the third pass.lots left,i used williams for years but it never lathered like that.i must admit though i never bowl lathered it in the past.glad i gave it the overnight soak...just scored a vintage puck as well..should get it soon..
