I don't really have sidearms but have done alot of hunting with Contenders and Encores pistols. Don't want to get into pics, it's about as bad as my straight razor collection.
I finely took a pic with a shaver. An SRP logo limited edition and an Oscar11 brush loaded with Cella. Same Seecamp, this time in a Meco holster.
Nice pic.... I've read a lot of good reviews of Meco holsters. I pocket carry 90+% of the time, and their pocket holsters look great.
Robert, who makes them all himself is a great guy too. 12 days from ordering til it was in my mailbox. He must have mailed it before he got my check. He says he has never been burned. That holster can be carried in a pocket, but also has slots for owb
The BLUE Tips Razor: 1955 Gillette Blue Tip Super Speed (A4 date code) Ammo: FN 5.7x28mm SS197SR Sporting Round loaded with 40 grain Hornady V-Max polymer-tipped bullets Firearm: FN Five-seveN pistol This is my mildest shaving razor, and my mildest shooting (center fire) handgun.
I had to Google an image, since mine is locked in a vault at work right next to my C8. I have to get a new thigh holster for it though since the Army issued ones are absolute garbage. Next time I'm on ex I may snap a pic or two, though I hate carrying the thing around since its just another weapon to clear when I'm trying to get into a tent, and it gets annoying with 3 x 13rd mags stuffed into places when running around on top of my 10 x 30rd .5.56 mags.
If I could, I'd carry my 1911 Colt .45 around in uniform and in theater. They just don't want us to win the wars we're in now.
I've really taken a liking to the FN .40 Cal. They shoot really nice. Almost nicer than my 1911 Colt. .45
Does my bow count? It doesn't burn gunpowder, but it does launch projectiles (some of which actually hit what they're aimed at.)
No, it's a Bowtech. I am not a hunter, but still a novice target archer. I haven't competed yet, but may have a chance next month.
Howdy! My most recent firearm is a stainless steel 1858 Remington cap and ball revolver made by Uberti. I also got a conversion cylinder that shoots 45 long colt cowboy ammo. Kind of neat! Always, Gene
I received a very nice Christmas gift from my wonderful wife. It's a LC Smith 12 ga. side x side Featherweight shotgun. Manufactured 1919 and she's a beaut (the gun and the wife)!
The barrels are 28" and they're choked full & modified. As you can see it's only a field grade but it's beautiful. I'm a big dove hunter and I think it's going to be perfect. I've been using a vintage Beretta Silver Snipe O/U, that my father passed down to me, for years and have always wanted an Elsie. My brother has taken the Beretta to have it totally restored. I'll post a picture when it's complete.
