My father shot a silver snipe when we still had pheasant here. Enjoy it. I love shooting dove. I will have to get motivated and snap a shot of my left hand wingmaster.
No pheasant in my area of Virginia but I used to be an avid quail hunter but for some reason they're all gone. Haven't seen or heard one in years. The military here spray for mosquitoes using C130's and I've heard that this has driven them away. Who knows.
That is a nice looking bow, with some big cams. What's the let off? Guess I'll have to get some pics of my bow as well then!
That's what mine is setup for as well. Some where I have shims to kick it up to 85% i think... Well, I found a pick of my bow, so here is my contribution. The bow is an older Oneida Labs Tom Cat 3
I got the bow in 97 or 98 I think. They are definitely unique looking, and best described as a "compound re-curve". The design makes the bow very quite, fast and at the time above average let offs. They are still around and making bows, I'd love to upgrade but not at the price they are asking. http://cponeidaeagle.com/
Over here, a lot of grasslands have been built on and keep pushing pheasants and quails out west. When grasslands disappear, so do the birds. But yes, I don't dispute the mites claim either.
Where might someone find a razor stand similar to this? I can tell that this one is old, but is there anything new similar to this?? Thanks for sharing!!
It's actually a rubber stamp holder. Find 'em at antique stores, flea markets, ebay, etc. New ones here ---> *click*
Brilliant! Thank you soo much yet again swarden43!! I was just getting ready to post today's "Score" while telling the wife, "I'm Done for awhile", w/ exception of Thrift store items I cannot pass up on; and the few items still pending delivery haha..
The Taurus .38 Special in the middle is mine. The .22 and the .357 belong to my brother. Here's my latest shave: a birth-year ('66) Gillette Slim Adjustable. Haven't "taken it to the range" yet.
