I received my sampler pack that I ordered and I decided to use an astra blade...

Only nicked myself on my cheeck(no idea how lol, Ive never ever cut my cheeck with any razor) and a nick on my chin but the chin one I received because I used a technique I've never used before I learned by watching mantics videos called "blade buffing", that one was a pretty nasty cut still bleeding a little an hour later but it's tiny so no big deal. Unfortunately I still had a bit of stubble on my chin but I could have easily shaved it off just missed it after removing the lather from my brush so it was too late. The advce I have learned on this forum helped my shave go pretty well tonight, one peice of advice in particular "don't do too much on one pass, each pass reduces the beard". I'm still learning and I'm sure the shaves are only going to get better, at least it's fun to shave this way :)

++1 on trying other blades (no shortage of options out there) and most definitely don't worry about "face-turbation" shaves until your technique is perfected. On your path, never forget that "Invisible stubble is ALWAYS better than visible irritation". That's what the mirror is for, sure you may feel something on your face and find it frustrating, but what can you see? If you can't see it, neither can anybody else.:D
