This thread, in particular, did die, many years ago, and rightly so. There have been many necro-posts dug up over the last few years. I would not be surprised to find out that the person doing the digging is the same individual that is continually banned again and again. The advice that I was given many years ago, is to not feed the trolls.
Easy solution, just automatically close threads to further replies after a certain inactive time limit. I don't see why people get so perturbed on forums when old threads get resurrected. It's not like the world is gonna end.
old threads offer info not recently discussed or available at present.. opinions and results change after time as well. whats wrong with old threads..
Old threads do get dug up by new members that are wondering about the topic. Nice that they search the forum to see what was going on in the past. Been there, done that. So if a new member post to an old thread it means they are interested in the topic or at least have questions about it. IMO it seems OK to me. tp
In the late 90's I used a lotion called Shave in the shower. It was developed by a Florida dermatologist. You washed your face while showering ,applied a layer of this product and shaved.I had good results with it.You could also use it outside of the shower. One of my lady friends liked it for her shaving needs, said she did not suffer from razor burn while using it.It has disappeared from the market. Also recently I have shaved with the Barbasol lotion you can find at Big Lots.No issues with DE or shavette and it has a pleasant scent.
