Sweet Christmas tree Yukio! ......... I love the sky in that photo too.....was it a rainy night? I finally got my new lens........seemed like it took forever. It is amazingly wide and built like a tank......
Yup, it was a rainy day. The photograph was taken at 6:30PM, just before the sky went dark, with the very same lens you just bought. Congratulations, that is an excellent, indispensable tool.
I’ve been doing a lot of portraiture these past few weeks. Unfortunately, I can’t post them as I need the permission of my models. However I did that: That one was totally unintentional. I was just testing the light of day for some portraits and when I saw it, it I liked it. I did not even bother to straighten up the horizon. That one is an inner courtyard where I could imagine Elizabeth Stride being murdered.
Says you I kind of thought it did along the skyline and where the skyline meets the building.....A great photo!
Wow! Yukio and Ray G, i'm amazed by your skills Very inspiring! I just got a Dynax 5D from a friend who's a pro cameraman, but i'm totally green when it comes to shooting anything other than the usual P&S holiday snapshots... Thank you Yukio for making those tutorials. After a couple of years filled with stress, my memory is like swiss cheese, so i'll be reading them regularly :whacky098
