WoW! It has an interesting disorienting effect, for lack of a better word. It looks like a picture of a miniature, but the details are too fine/precise. My mind can't grasp the scale.
Well, I'm no expert, but there is something about each and every one your photos I've seen that is unique. I can't put my finger on it, but in spite of the variety of subjects and treatments, I think there is a signature. I'd buy your book! Oh, and FYI, the journey IS the destination.
Here is my effort. This was the view from my house briefly one winter. Snow never lasts more than a day or two.
DSLR Noob Was playing around with my son's D80 last weekend. Haven't messed with an SLR in a VERY long time!
Thanks JoAnna The picture quality is a bit poor though. I haven't quite got the sizing right. Here is hopefully a less distorted atempt of the tourist train nearby. Until the railways generally disappeared in the UK, you could take this line to the nearby town, change trains and go pretty much anywhere in the UK.
Here are a couple of shots taken yesterday with the D80 and Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro. Taking them is easier than post processing!! Too much to learn...the camera, file sizes, Photoshop, color management, printing (an utter failure so far)....I have a headache!!
