Thank you. I'm very happy with it.
I also love the mechanical watch movements with the ticking sounds and the sweeping second hand. I'm wearing a manual wind watch this week, and there's just something about giving the crown 25 turns before you put in on your wrist in the morning. The fact that the movement was uniquely assembled by a watchmaker and doesn't keep perfect time just adds to the charm.
Awesome but it doesn't match you avatar.
A sweeping second hand provides a cool visual indication that the watch is alive. Looking down at it sometimes gets me through some boring meetings at work.
Sweet! I bet that watch has some super lume.
Thank you, Keith.
I really like this watch, I just watched the videos on the Slow website and I'm hooked!
They do sell them in Amazon as well
Several years ago I passed up a Monument field/military style watch at a shop for around $20 I think it was. Probably not the best quality but it was like new and looked the part. Shoulda got it.
That was dangerous... I'm so close to hitting the buy button..here's the one I like. I totally get the concept of this watch, I live by it.
Wearing mine 'in the wild' today - can you tell what time it is?
The correct answer is 'about 8:30am'
Very sweet! I'm going to get one after my wife's birthday..
Yes. You are correct....
I like the Slow watch. Sadly though it's probably just not compatible with my work or my personality. Maybe when I retire the difference between being 10 seconds early and 10 seconds late won't matter so much .
There's a reason I REFUSE to visit a watch forum...
I want one of these watches now..i blame you! It was simplier when i was ignorant of their existence! The ad's have infiltrated many areas of my life since the den...im gonna do a thread in that very topic.
