Friday Merkur HD razor Derby Extra Blade SMF III Brush Vulfix Lavender Shaving Cream Shavex Alum Block Anherb Aftershave Conditioner Floid Original Aftershave Splash L'Occitane Eau du Badian EDT
When I get back on Sunday evening......I really must write my review on this one. I also use a Futur....and have had no problems.....however ....I think more than any other razor.....loads of variables have to be considered.
Friday 11th Merkur 37c Slant Feather Blade Muehle SilverTip Erasmic Cream Floiid AS TOOBS Shaving Shop Cologne The Slant delivers - cool! But I did like it even better with a Derby Blade.. I just dont seem to like the Feathers.. They are SHARP! - yes.. But.. Oh well.. Have a nice Weekend Folks..
I agree... Thomas: I bought a bunch of Feathers back when I was a newb and tried them in all my razors. Long story short..... I hated them. Absolutely brutal and totally unforgiving. FLASH FORWARD or ("Foward", for Doc) a cuppa months...... Feather in Slant ......still no likey Feather in SS.....Super-dee-duper ! :: Give that combo a try or a Feather in a similar type razor You might be surprised
I feel the same.. They are just more brutal.. I get consistent great shaves with my Derbys in any razor.. But I havent tried so many feathers.. You might be right - I wont give up on them.. Nice to now Im not alone
I agree with Rick here - put yer Feathers in a Tech or a SS or an old Standard and they'll deliver. I'd never even put them in my Slim Adjustable... no way.

Friday AM Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!! :: ::git Hot shower Proraso Pre-Post at end of shower SMF 1 brush '71 Slim Adjustable w/ Nacet blade (Day 4) TGQ Provence Lavender soap Warm water rinse Cold water rinse Aqua Velva A/S splash Cold water rinse Anherb A/S gel + Mama Bear's Peppermint A/S Milk w/ Menthol Ungaro Ungaro III EdT Initial review of TGQ Provence Lavender soap: It performs just as wonderfully as all my other TGQ soaps, but I think my aversion to Lavender reared its ugly head again... had some burning and redness, the type of which has only happened on some Lavender products (SCS Lavender balm, etc.) I think I'll try an experiment next time I use this soap, and cut it 1/2 and 1/2 with some KMF Unscented... see how that goes. Performance wise, it gets an A+ -- typical of Colleen's soaps. Scent-wise, it's unlike any Lavender product I've smelled before... very nice, and I really don't know what "true" Lavender smells like, but I like this one.

I started with the 7am blade on day 3 and said nope. They only last me 2 days and they don't cut too well on me anyway. So, I switched to the Israeli Persona for the rest of the shave. Doesn't cut like a feather but better than the 7am.
So , you used an after shave, an after shave balm and then an after shave gel? Wow! Talk about layering.
