what is happening to the world...no brushes allowed? no real straight razors allowed,, where is all the fun now then.. I guess I now know what caused the downfall of the real barbertrade :mad:

 

Boubi, barbers here are paranoid about having an accident with a straight razor, and injuring a customer, because of a lawsuit, and also because of SIDA. The federal, and provincial laws here in Canada require a barbershop to use sterilized shaving equipement, but I'd still prefer to do my own shaving.

you could always have brought your own brush ,cream and your str8 I think your barber would be excited using your own stuff on you anyways now that you broke your str8 in two halfs that journey as come to an end for you.

a quick, but almost BBS shave this morning--this Musgo a/shave can pass for a nice edt, but DON'T overdo it!

 

Ah, well, Rene, I guess with the Parkers it's you get what you pay for. For 13€ you can't expect the build-quality of a Merkur, which still are and will be my new razors of choice.
But it's good to know that the input will be taken seriously

 

Try something else Boubi, I have been experimenting with the Anherb Conditioner a bit , whenever I slap on the A/S I wait about 20 seconds then grab the Anherb and pour out about 1/2 a tea spoon and rub it on the face while its still drying up with the A/S you will notice an improvement of your skin been doing that for 2 weeks in a row now. but this is only for diehards because its so COLD when the anherb interacts with the A/S . and I wish you would use your Kent BK8 more often.

 

I'm gonna try that during the week. Boubi, you gave me a DAMN good tip, there!
