Pokemon Go is a rediculous trend. I know people that are 50+ years old that play that stupid game. Not to mention it uses your camera to link reality with virtual reality. Plus people walking off cliffs and jumping out in traffic to catch a Charzard lol. It defies reason and common sense.
I don't understand why they portray Col. Sanders this way. He looks and acts like a southern plantation slave owner. The fact that they specialize in fried chicken really drives the message home. In this day and age rascism is presented in this "hidden" or backdoor kind of way. Everytime I see a KFC commercial it makes me imbarassed to be white because it reflects poorly on all of us. Sorry for the rant.
We had three guys who were robbed playing it. Somebody set up one of the Pokemon or whatever for people to chase to their location, then would rob them at gunpoint. Yeah, who didn't see that one coming eventually?
I am going to say it. Being gay it seems to have become a trend. Heck you have very young teens claiming they are gay. At that age you don't know anything. Now that is just silly.
Lol yea I heard of things like that happening. Aparently in my neighborhood you have to walk thru this dark alley behind the liquor store, it must be some kind of checkpoint or something but why they chose this location is baffeling.
How about parents saying their 2 year old is a "transgender" because he likes the color purple (or some other rediculous reason). I really feel bad for the younger generation, they will be completely confused and screwed up when they grow up. It's all part of the agenda.
I have to deal with teens, almost everyday, and its scary to see the number who are diagnosed Depressed, Bipolar, ADHD, Opositional Defiant, etc. A huge amount are prescribed mood altering medications. I blame the computers, and social media for confusing them all. As well as parents afraid to discipline their own kids. Instead, it straight to the therapist, or Psychiatrist. And yes, they are screwed up as they turn into adults. Unlimited Cell Phone/Internet Use by Kids. That's the worst trend I known.
There are a VERY tiny proportion of truly transgendered people that can be diagnosed pre-pubescent. Even the various TG forums will tell you that they're EXTREMELY rare. Most people having that kind of tendency simply spend more time with girls than boys (or vice versa), and it's not until later that it becomes more conscious. Yes, I've been interested in that for a long time, and I spend time reading up on it. It turns out that most "TG" have interesting brain scans and/or genetic issues. So, it is a real thing, and for some, it can be diagnosed early. (see Kleinfelter's syndrome, and CAIS - Complete androgen insensitivity syndrome) Heck, the more that I've studied the sex chromosomes, the more I'm amazed that our species has managed to keep going, considering all the weird damage that can happen there. (Not to mention chimeras, where one person can have the genes of _more than one person_, some of which can be _different sexes_) o Anyway - if someone wants to let their kid wear dresses and skirts, who cares? In England, up until they were housebroken, _all_ boys used to wear dresses (in parts of the US as well). That's where you got the term petticoat discipline - if a young man misbehaved enough, he was not allowed to wear trousers, or 'short pants', because he was behaving like a very young child. So, for young children (under 5, usually), you often couldn't tell the difference between boys and girls except by what toys they were playing with. Sir Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts, was in a dress and curls as a child. (they have photos of him in the various BSA headquarters)
I can't find it, but I have a Santa hat with thick black yarn "dreadlocks" sewn inside the band. It ain't a party until Rasta Claus rolls up...
