The PJ2 and the T2 have very similar knots. I am told (by guys who really know their brushes) that, unless you just like the sockets of both of these, you will essentially have two of the same brush only with different sockets. Especially hard to tell without using them though, given the Simpson propensity for inconsistent hair knots. YMMV, of course, but after looking at my new PJ2, I'm trading it in for something else. I love my T2, but I don't want two of them.
