I've seen pics of the tin on their site as a prop to the featured brush, but no reference to purchasing it.
Posted on their Twitter on December 14: @AESimpson1919 : Happy to report we shall be stocking our own Simpson shaving soap, shaving cream, skin food, aftershave balm & pre-shave oil in the New Year
I'll stick with my already favs, especially since it's just re-branded goods made by someone else.. probably someone else I'm already using anyway at a much cheaper price.
Basically all creams are made by 5-6 manufacturers and Creighton made creams can vary quite a bit, so taking such a stand point may mean you miss out on a lot of good stuff Example - Creighton makes the 3 T's which are all soft creams. Creighton also makes the DR HARRIS cream, which is a thick dense cream and the lather you get is also very thick and creamy. I hope the manufacturer which makes Xpec and Domenico Carechi 1913 will make this cream - then I know it will be a HIGH END shvecream.
Isn't Simpson now owned by Vulfix? And doesn't Vulfix already have a line of creams? I imagine the same company that makes the creams for Vulfix is making it for Simpson brand too - most likely the same exact stuff just labeled Vulfix or Simpson.
Mark Watterson did not say who was making it but he did tell me that it was different than the Vulfix creams.
Talked to Mark. He wouldn't go into details about the manufacturer, but he did tell the cream was unscented.
