Well, the dog's name is "Duke" after all. :)

A few days ago, I wrote to Hannah Stratford at Simpsons asking about the sale rumor (before Mike spilled the beans)...
Hello, Hannah. I just heard a rumour and I wondered it you could shed any light on it.
Has your company been sold?! If so, could you give me any particulars? To whom was it sold? What does this mean to those of you who work there? (I hope that will not be a problem if the rumour is true!) Do you know what the future plans are? Blah, blah, blah.....
Today, I received the following response - but not from Hannah :( . I hope she's just on holiday - or has simply been told to refer all such questions to someone else.
Thank you for your e-mail. With regard to Simpsons, I can confirm that production has been transferred to

    A. Simpson & Co.
Unit 24 Spring Valley Industrial Estate
    Douglas
    Isle of Man
    IM2 2QR

All enquiries should be directed to Philip Watterson at that address.

The production of all Coates Shaving Cream remains at

    Oriel House
    Tabram's Pitch
    Nailsworth
    Glos., GL6 0BS

and all enquiries for Coates Shaving Cream should be directed to this address.

    Sarah Crumpton
For and on behalf of David Carter
    I didn't figure they'd elaborate.

And Coate's? What Coate's? I thought that had been discontinued. No?

Oh, and if you are female and work in the shaving brush business in the UK, does your first name have to end in "uh"? Sarah, Hannah................Vanessa. :)
